Belt Drive Blower Motors

When working on your belt drive blower unit, please follow all safety procedures.  Make sure that the power is shut off at circuit breaker.

Belt drive blowers have several working parts.  The motor will be attached to the outside of the blower housing, most commonly bolted to a rubber isolated plate.  The motor can be removed by simply detaching it from its mounting plate,  disconnecting the power leads and slipping the belt off of the pulley.  If the parts of the blower are damaged however, you may need our assistance.  The shaft will need to be removed from the blower wheel and most likely replaced along with the bearings.  It is highly recommended to have us work on your belt drive assembly in our shop.  Be advised, you may have to leave it with us for up to a full day.
